Unfiltered Series: MediHeal x BT21 Face Point Mask

I’m back with another review!

Last month (it’s been a month already, woah), I was lucky enough to see BTS live and while I was in NYC, I decided to do a quick stop in Korea Town to check out the Kbeauty stores they have there. The first Kbeauty store I walked in, was Tonymoly, and when I saw that they had the BT21 face point masks, I knew I had to buy one. Here’s the thing: I like BTS. So I’ll buy anything that’s BTS related lol.

It was tough to decide which face point mask with what BT21 character to buy, because they all look cute, but I settled on Koya mask since I like RM (fangirls).

This was my first time trying a face point mask. I usually go for face sheet masks, but I decided to try something new. Face point masks are suppose to target the most problematic areas on your face, so let’s say you’ve a big pimple on your forehead that you’ve been trying to get rid of for a few days now, you apply this kind of mask and it’ll help minimize the pimple and sometimes, it’ll even make it go away! A face point mask comes in the form of stickers that you can easily apply anywhere on your face.

How cute are these stickers of Koya??

This pack came with six Koya stickers. Upon taking the stickers out of the package, I noticed that they were soaked in serum which is good! The instructions were all in Korean and since I don’t know the language, I just figured out how long these stickers should stay on my face (between 5 and 10 minutes).

I placed them in areas where I had pimples. I only used 3 of them, because I wanted to keep the rest for the next day. After 10 minutes, I took them off and I massaged that serum left from the stickers into my face. In the areas applied, my skin didn’t feel any different, no smoother skin or anything like that.

The next morning when I woke up, I noticed that the two big pimples that I had on my forehead, got much smaller thanks to the Koya sticker. So I guess the face point mask kinda worked?

This product is pricey. I paid 5 USD.

Final thoughts: I bought this product for its cute packaging, but I’d not purchase it again. The face point mask didn’t do much for my skin.
