Unfiltered Series: Kaja Beauty Lip Gloss Stick

I feel like I haven’t reviewed a makeup product in ages. And the opportunity finally came.

I was at Sephora the other day when I noticed a stand that said “Kaja Beauty” and the description of the products was “a K-beauty inspired brand”. There’s no secret that I like trying K-beauty products so I couldn’t say no to this, right?

I only got a lip gloss, because I wanted to see whether I like this one product before trying others. Truth being told I’m kind of broke at the moment so I couldn’t afford buying more lol.

When it is hot outside, I prefer not to wear a matte lipstick, because it really dries my lips. Instead, I like wearing tint or lip gloss. I was looking for a tinted lip gloss that also gives a natural finish look at the same time. I picked the shade hunny bun because the color is similar to how my natural lips are.

I picked shade 05 Hunny Bun.

What I like:

✿ Shape of the gloss; it’s heart shaped.

✿ Creamy texture

✿ Doesn’t look glossy on the lips.

✿ Quite lasting. I put it on and went to brunch afterwards. i spent around 5 hours without re-applying it, time when I ate and drank. There was still some left on my lips.

✿ Doesn’t dry my lips, because it also has the properties of a lip balm in other words: it keeps your lips moisturized.

What I don’t like:

✿ The packaging. You’ve to click twice in order to be able to apply the product on your lips. I wish the applicator was more user friendly.

I swatched it on my arm. Note: I applied it directly on my skin, didn’t put any foundation before swatching it.

WHERE TO BUY

I bought this gloss from Sephora US: https://tinyurl.com/y4n456n8

This brand is exclusively launched by Sephora so it can be found at all Sephora stores around the world. Kaja Beauty doesn’t have its own website.

FINAL THOUGHTS

To conclude, I really like this product because it offers a finish look but also keeps my lips moisturized. It also made me want to try more products from the Kaja Beauty line.

Fun fact: the word “Kaja” is a Korean word and it means “let’s go”. It’s written as “가자” in Hangul. Watching all those kpop interviews are finally paying off lol.

HAVE YOU TRIED KAJA BEAUTY?
